To Kindle or Not to Kindle

My friend Jim in book club loves his Kindle. He has already downloaded the next book before our meeting ends. He can search for particular phrases in the text as well. True, it is $399 and each additional book costs around $10. Has the e-book finally caught on? What will this mean for your library?

iPhone Rules!

"...the iPhone is the most important product of the still-young 21st century." So wrote Lance Ulanoff in the June 2008 issue of PC Magazine. He says that the product is really for the 20-somethings and I must say my kids (20-somethings) love thier phones. But does or will the iPhone have a place in the public library in the next five years?
